As an Industrialization Technician
, you will play a key role within our Production Team at Quantum Systems in Wessling. You will help bridge the gap between development and serial production by supporting the industrialization of innovative counter-UAS technologies. Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain, you will contribute to establishing efficient, scalable, and high-quality manufacturing processes while supporting Quantum Systems’ mission to deliver cutting‑edge autonomous technologies.

• Industrialization, optimization, and standardization of assembly, integration, and testing processes for cUAS platforms

• Transitioning new products and assemblies from development into stable, documented, and reproducible production processes

• Creating, implementing, and maintaining work and test instructions in Operations1

• Defining and optimizing suitable assembly procedures and supporting the setup of assembly and test stations

• Providing hands‑on support to Production on technical and process‑related issues

• Supporting prototypes, validation builds, pre‑series production, and LRIP production ramp‑ups

• Supporting the mechanical and electrical integration of assemblies, sensors, electronics, drive systems, and other system components

• Analyzing and resolving assembly, process, and quality deviations in collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Production

• Conducting time studies and process analyses to improve quality, lead time, takt time, and efficiency

• Implementing engineering changes in production and ensuring that work documentation and revision levels are up to date

• Supporting the introduction and qualification of new tools, test equipment, and production processes

• Ensuring compliance with defined assembly, testing, ESD, FOD, and documentation standards

• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of products, production processes, and workplace design

• Completed technical vocational training, for example as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, electronics technician, aircraft mechanic, or in a comparable field

• Ideally, further qualification as a state‑certified technician, master craftsperson, or equivalent qualification

• Professional experience in industrialization, production, production planning, system integration, or prototype manufacturing

• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and cross‑system assembly and testing processes

• Proficiency in working with technical drawings, bills of materials, schematics, work instructions, and revision levels

• Experience in the assembly and integration of complex technical systems and assemblies

• Experience with ERP, MES, or digital work‑instruction systems; knowledge of Operations1 is an advantage

• Knowledge of ESD protection, FOD prevention, traceability, and documentation requirements for assembly is desirable

• Experience with cable harness assembly, connectors, sensors, electronic assemblies, adhesive bonding processes, or drive systems is an advantage

• Structured, independent, and hands‑on approach to work

• Strong quality, safety, and sense of responsibility

• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a strong interest in cross‑functional collaboration

• Very good command of German and good command of English
