Junior Manager Retail Real Estate

Germany / Bayreuth

• Support the identification and evaluation of potential new retail store locations in line with expansion strategy
• Assist in market analysis, site assessments, and preparation of location proposals
• Coordinate with external brokers, landlords, and property owners during leasing processes
• Support lease negotiations in collaboration with senior real estate managers and legal teams
• Maintain and update the real estate portfolio database, including lease terms and key milestones
• Assist in preparing investment cases and internal approval documents for new store openings
• Collaborate with Retail Development, Construction, and Finance teams to ensure feasibility of locations
• Monitor key lease dates (renewals, break options, expirations) and support portfolio management activities
• Conduct administrative and reporting tasks related to real estate projects and pipeline tracking

• Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Economics, or a related field
• Initial professional experience in real estate, retail expansion, leasing, site acquisition, or property management (internships included)
• Basic understanding of commercial real estate principles, lease structures, and retail site selection processes
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to support market research, site evaluations, and investment analysis
• Good communication and coordination skills for working with internal stakeholders and external partners (brokers, landlords)
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with real estate databases is an advantage
• Fluent English sklills; an additional European language is an advantage
