IT Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable, secure IT operations in day‑to‑day business as an IT Systems Administrator (m/f/d)
• Support, configure and further develop core company applications (Service Now, D3, Kaba and other business applications)
• Configure and optimize system environments (Hyper‑V, MS SQL, telephony systems (PBX), software distribution)
• Plan, procure and implement new IT systems and applications
• Analyze and resolve incidents at 2nd‑level support (infrastructure & applications)
• Implement and further develop IT security, patching and backup concepts
• Maintain technical system and application documentation
• Manage and coordinate external service providers for operations, changes and projects
• Participate in IT projects and in on‑call rotations

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration (Fachinformatiker System integration) or equivalent professional experience
• Several years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or application support, e.g. as an IT Systems Administrator or System Engineer (m/f/d)
• Knowledge of operating enterprise applications (e.g., Service Now, D3, Kaba)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Microsoft Hyper‑V or VMware)
• Structured, analytical and service‑oriented working style
• Ability to work independently and communicate well with business units and service providers
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to undertake occasional international business trips

Demonstrates expertise in IT Systems Administration, focusing on the configuration and optimization of core applications and system environments. Proficient in incident resolution, IT security implementation, and managing external service providers.
