Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior UX Researcher you are part of our Product Management team and actively contribute to an even better user experience & usability of all Docu Ware products. Your ability to identify, prioritize, and complete high-impact research will help cross-functional teams make well-informed decisions to define the future of Docu Ware products. The research will come in the form of mixed methods, including but not limited to foundational, generative, and evaluative research.
Your daily tasks will involve planning, conducting and evaluating research and tests around UX ideas, concepts and designs. You will closely collaborate with Product managers, designers and other departments in the organization to drive the successful implementation of research insights into our current and future products.
Your responsibilities include:
- Research planning: collaboration with various stakeholders to define (strategic) research objectives.
- Preparing, conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative user studies to explore ideas, features, concepts and designs together with our users.
- Effectively communicate insights and findings to represent and address user needs and insights during product development.
- Build innovative and actionable results and communication strategies in the form of engaging reports, jobs-to-be-done frameworks, journey maps, or other materials as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers and UX specialists to (further) develop our products with a focus on user experience.
- Advocating for user needs, goals and problems as well as user‑centred design in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Mentoring other UX Researchers, Designers and PMs to foster and grow user research and a data‑driven product experience culture.
- Degree in Psychology, Business Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Market Research, Interaction Design, or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience as a UX researcher in a B2B context (ideally with some experience in SaaS projects or organizations)
- Previous experience working along the Product Development process in close collaboration with Design, Product Management and Development
- Strong understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of various quantitative and qualitative research methods as well as sound knowledge of test design, statistics and data analysis
- Good conceptual skills, analytical and strategic thinking to extract actionable and impactful insights from your research
- You bring the drive to collaborate with different stakeholders along the product development process and look for opportunities to innovate
- You are enthusiastic about your area of expertise and can communicate the value of User Research to different parts of the organization
- Very good knowledge of German and English
