Linux Specialist

You'll plan and execute the migration of our client devices to Linux while building a modern, standardized desktop environment. You'll automate deployments and administrative processes using Bash, Python, or Ansible, integrate Linux clients into existing services such as Active Directory and Entra , and ensure a secure, stable, and scalable environment.

You'll also support internal teams and customers during Linux migration projects, provide technical guidance on best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure.

You hold a degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT qualification and bring at least 5 years of hands-on professional experience in Linux server and workstation administration
, working with systems such as Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

You have strong practical experience with Linux administration, Bash scripting, and Active Directory configuration and management
, including the integration of Linux systems into Active Directory environments. Experience with networking fundamentals as well as LDAP, Kerberos, or Entra  also highly valued.

Knowledge of Python, Ansible, and Git is an advantage. A structured, hands-on approach, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for automation complete your technical profile.

As the role involves regular collaboration in a German-speaking environment,
German language skills are strongly preferred
. Good English communication skills are required.
