YourResponsibilities
As a Product Manager – Platform Team (m/f/d), you shape the foundational platform, cloud operations, integrations, and base services that all Docu Ware AI Hub teams depend on. The AI Hub platform operates NLP, Computer Vision, and Large Language Models at scale – served via inference infrastructure such as NVIDIA Triton. Treating internal engineering teams as your customers, you ensure they have a reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly foundation to build upon – while acting as the team's spokesperson in OKR planning, roadmap reviews, and cross-team alignment.
Your responsibilities
- You define and continuously refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform, cloud operations, integrations, and base services – prioritizing investments, evaluating build vs. buy decisions, and driving adoption across all AI Hub teams while building business cases that demonstrate ROI through productivity gains, cost savings, and reliability improvements.
- Through continuous user research with AI Hub engineering teams, you validate platform improvement ideas, identify and remove friction in developer workflows, and prioritize competing requests – all while assessing new technological opportunities in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, CI/CD, observability, and integration patterns to enhance self-service capabilities and developer autonomy.
- You coordinate the timely, high-quality delivery of platform increments in an interdisciplinary, agile team – working closely with Engineering and Machine Learning to clarify requirements, resolve blockers, and support technical decision-making, while constructively challenging complexity and fostering an iterative, data-driven development approach with fast learning cycles.
- You define and monitor platform success metrics – including deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR, developer satisfaction, and cloud spend efficiency – driving cost optimization strategies and deriving concrete improvement initiatives from data, experiments, and developer feedback.
- As the spokesperson for the Platform Team, you communicate strategy, roadmap, and progress transparently to stakeholders and leadership – translating technical work and debt into tangible business outcomes, driving adoption through evangelism and change management, and building consensus across a matrix organization by influencing without authority.
- You hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field, combined with several years of Product Management experience in platform engineering, Dev Ops, or infrastructure products.
- You bring a strong platform engineering mindset – treating internal developers as customers – with a proven track record in road mapping, building business cases, and driving platform adoption through research, evangelism, and change management.
- You have conceptual knowledge of cloud platforms…
