AMS Data Analyst

The Aftermarket Solutions (AMS) Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and transforming operational, financial, and customer data into meaningful business intelligence that supports strategic and day-to-day decision making. This position works closely with Aftermarket leadership to identify trends, measure business performance, improve operational processes, and develop reporting that enhances customer service, project execution, and revenue growth.

• Business Intelligence & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports for the Aftermarket organization.
  • Automate recurring reports and present findings to leadership.
• Operational Analytics
  • Analyze proposal activity, project execution, revenue, gross margin, backlog, win/loss rates, resource utilization, and customer response times.
  • Analyze project execution data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Measure proposal turnaround times and quote conversion.
  • Support workload, staffing, and forecasting.
• Monitor revenue, gross margin, backlog, and financial performance.
• Develop forecasting models and ROI analyses.
• Support budgeting and strategic planning.
• Customer Analytics
  • Analyze customer purchasing behavior and aftermarket service trends.
  • Measure customer retention and identify growth opportunities.
• Systems Administration & Data Management
  • Maintain and administer departmental operating systems, including SMQS and SharePoint, ensuring information is accurate, current, and accessible.
  • Develop and maintain standardized data structures, libraries, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across SMQS, SharePoint, and other business systems.
  • Coordinate system updates, workflow improvements, and user enhancements.
  • Manage departmental documentation, reporting repositories, templates, and standardized processes within SharePoint.
  • Support implementation of new technologies, reporting tools, and automation initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to identify improvement opportunities through data analysis.
• Recommend process changes supported by measurable results.
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 3-5 years of analytical experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability work within multiple disciplines in MM and MT.

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
