Your mission & challenges
- You will drive the digital transformation of our production.
- You will implement, integrate, and administer various software components to enable smart, connected manufacturing.
- You will ensure seamless data flows between MES, ERP, PLM, and cloud systems.
- You will integrate production equipment, robotic systems, and IIoT devices to capture and process real-time data.
- Further development of our MES system.
- Integration of scanners and printers into the MES system.
- Integration of test software into the MES system.
- A completed Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on manufacturing and/or automation.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Solid command of object-oriented software development methodologies, from software design through to testing.
- Solid Python skills.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools.
- An independent way of working and a willingness to take ownership of your topics.
- German as your native language, plus English at least at B2 level.
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Solid Linux skills.
- Experience with Shell or Power Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with OPC/UA servers and middleware such as MQTT or Kafka
