IT Operations Engineer – Virtual Desktop Infrastructure; VDI); d​/m​/w

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH to take responsibility for the operation and continuous improvement of data center and virtualization environments in Germany

• Take operational responsibility for data center infrastructures based on Windows and Linux server platforms and virtualization technologies
• Administer, configure and operate Citrix environments
  , including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
• Work with Group Policies and VMware ESXi
• Continuously improve virtualization systems and adapt them to changing internal user requirements
• Support the planning, development and implementation of new server and data center infrastructure solutions
• Provide technical support for root-cause analysis and incident resolution
  , particularly within virtualization environments

Master’s degree / Diploma in Computer Science or a comparable qualification

• More than 3 years of professional experience in IT / Information Systems
• Extensive hands‑on expertise with Citrix environments, particularly Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
• Strong knowledge of network, server and client environments
• Solid experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, Windows Server and Microsoft Patch Management
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware is highly desirable
• Knowledge of ITIL and relevant product certifications would be an advantage
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies would also be beneficial:
  HPE Synergy | Red Hat Server | Oracle | Net App | Net Backup | SQL | Checkmk
• English:
  good professional proficiency
• Candidates must be eligible to work on military or NATO projects with the necessary security clearances.
