Do you want to work on a New Class of Drones? Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take‑off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimension of 8 m: the hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi‑role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, and the fixed‑wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by Ras Core, our highly redundant, military‑grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category.

Have you always wanted to know how information finds its way through thousands of cables in an aircraft? Do you believe that one line of code can change the world? As an avionics engineer at AVILUS, you will develop cutting‑edge airborne electronic systems that allow unmanned vehicles of several hundreds of kilograms to operate safely—even under the worst circumstances. You'll collaborate closely with neighboring disciplines to cover all relevant aspects, from supporting the system architecture development, including safety assessment activities, to safety‑critical embedded software development for airborne systems.

• Avionic equipment requirements management and hardware item conceptual design
• Avionic component selection, evaluation and integration
• EWIS design, manufacturing, and integration for the airborne and ground segment

• Degree:
  Completed degree (Master) in aerospace engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable programs
• Experience:
  
  3 years of practical experience in aerospace engineering
• Method knowledge:
  Fundamentals of avionics, electrical systems, digital communication (CAN, ARINC, Serial)
