As a Space Tech Senior Thermal Test Engineer, you will analyse and iterate test requirements, negotiate test conditions, and lead a team of thermal test engineers.

All our projects require hardware to be tested for harsh thermal conditions in space. Space Tech operates a wide range of thermal test facilities in Immenstaad. If you enjoy handling space‑flight hardware, preparing and running complex tests, and operating sophisticated test facilities, this is the opportunity for you.

• Analyse and iterate test requirements and negotiate test conditions with internal and external stakeholders
• Support proposal teams in test cost predictions
• Analyse and define test set‑ups
• Participate in internal and customer meetings
• Lead a team of thermal test engineers
• Plan test scheduling and resource allocation
• Ensure fulfillment of quality standards and test requirements
• Initiate and lead the troubleshooting process in case of unplanned deviations, define corrective and preventive actions, and report status

• Master’s degree in engineering, physics or related field
• At least 5 years of working experience in thermal engineering, preferably in the space business
• Experience with thermal test planning and execution
• Experience with thermal analysis (plus)
• Knowledge of ECSS (plus)
• Experience in systems engineering or project management (plus)
• Good report‑writing skills
• Good English language skills required;
  German language skills is a plus
