Aboutthe Role
The Engineering Testing Supervisor, is responsible for efficiently managing and supporting a team of engineers of all disciplines ensuring consistent operational delivery and the efficient execution of their day to day tasks, meet deadelines business projects.
Responsabilities- Planning activities
- Supply engineering expertise to complete tasks and to plan future work, providing engineering expertise and advice to the client and project team
- Review data analysis to introduce and develop improvements
- Analysis of the needs of the team
- Assigning duties to the team based on role and skills
- Supervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessary
- Conducting performance reviews and sharing feedback with both upper management and team members
- Organize and prioritize work arising and look for opportunities to maximize resource.
- Training new and current team members on tasks
- Handling customer issues and project deadlines
- Ensure effective performance management, absence management, timekeeping and control employee turnover
- Collaborate daily with the departments involved:
Sales, Project Management and Operations - Ensure work is being executed in an accurate, reliable, and technical & Timely manner.
- Ensure all schedules are kept up to date projects are moving through their LabLINK states in timely manner.
- Ensure KPI’s are reviewed and discussed with team on a regular cadence.
- Work with team and manager to accomplish KPI Targets.
- Engineer (Dipl.
-Ing.), Master or Bachelor of Science or equivalent education. - +5 years’ experience in the role
- Depth industry knowledge of test equipment and brakes machines
- Deep knowledge of the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills like decision-making, motivation and goal setting
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Organization and time management abilities
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively
- Comfortable with workplace technology like registers, scheduling software, inventory management software
- Basic math skills
- German fluent/mother tongue, English good in written and spoken
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines to multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to use software platforms, system and/or tool
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
