The primary focus of this role is to ensure the safe, efficient and timely execution of planned work activities through effective scheduling, resource allocation and operational coordination. The O&M Coordinator supports the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the offshore assets by coordinating personnel, vessels, materials and work orders, while maintaining a transparent overview of operational progress and performance.

About the role
  • Develop, maintain and optimise daily and weekly offshore work schedules, taking into account weather conditions, asset availability, operational priorities, resource capacity and approved campaign plans.
  • Manage, prioritise, assign and monitor SAP work orders, including the review of completed work orders to ensure complete and accurate documentation, time recording, material confirmations, proper work order closure and compliance with quality requirements.
  • Coordinate offshore activities, technician deployments, personnel transfers, vessels, materials, equipment and logistics to maximise resource utilisation and operational efficiency, while supporting Technical Engineers in the preparation and execution of corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Organise and support Toolbox Talks to communicate daily work scopes, operational priorities, safety expectations and lessons learned to offshore teams.
  • Monitor ongoing activities against agreed schedules, maintain continuous visibility of operational progress, prepare status reports and performance metrics, conduct operational performance reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with offshore technicians, Technical Engineers, warehouse personnel, Offshore Coordinators, vessel operators and external contractors, while conducting daily debriefs following offshore operations to capture lessons learned, operational feedback and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure that all planning, scheduling and coordination activities are carried out in accordance with the company's HSE requirements, offshore procedures and relevant industry standards.
  • Support the continuous optimisation of operational processes through the analysis of performance metrics, operational feedback, lessons learned and identified improvement opportunities.
Job requirements and experience
  • Successfully completed a technical or commercial vocational qualification, further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman, or a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management or a comparable field.
  • Good written and spoken German and English language skills.

  • Proven experience working with SAP (GUI/Fiori), particularly in maintenance planning, work order management and resource coordination, as well as experience with planning and scheduling tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in short-term operational planning, workforce planning, vessel coordination, maritime logistics, personnel transfer operations, resource management and offshore maintenance activities.
  • Strong organisational, communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills, combined with a structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental protection, with knowledge of relevant offshore operating procedures and industry standards.
  • Willingness to work on the island of Heligoland and onboard an SOV within a 13/15 rotation pattern, as well as in a rotating shift system including day and night shifts.
