Job Description:

TE Connectivity’s Digital Data Network Business Unit is looking for an experienced Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support our customers in the wireless and data communications market .

In this hybrid role, you will act as a technical interface for both direct customers and distribution partners , supporting key regions such as Germany and Sweden , along with additional European markets. The position involves approximately 30% travel .

You will play a key role in bridging customer needs with TE’s engineering and product teams , contributing directly to new business wins and technology development.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and distribution partners
• Identify and drive new business opportunities and pipeline growth
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and product concepts
• Support and influence new product development (NPD/NPI) processes
• Provide application support, product recommendations, and design-in guidance
• Conduct Voice of the Customer (VOC) sessions to capture market needs
• Collaborate closely with sales, product management, and engineering to secure wins
• Support technical issue resolution in partnership with internal teams
• Monitor industry trends and standards to help shape future solutions

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• 3–6 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
• Experience in connectivity, electronics, or manufacturing technologies is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in German and English
• Proactive, structured thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proven ability to work independently and within global, cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel (~30%) across the region
