Development Engineer (m/f/d) - Mechanical Analysis and Testing of Space Structures

• Structural Analysis:
  Support the execution of static and dynamic structural analyses for aerospace structures, ensuring result plausibility through manual verification methods.
• Performance Analysis:
  Conduct mechanical performance analyses for high-precision instruments and structures designed for space applications.
• Testing & Simulation:
  Contribute to the simulation and oversight of vibration testing for satellites and their sub-components.
• FEM Modeling:
  Develop mathematical structural models using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), focusing on application-oriented structural idealization and physical model validation using Hyperworks and NASTRAN.
• Verification of Joints:
  Perform strength verification for joining elements in accordance with VDI and ESA standards.
• Tool Development:
  Assist in developing internal Matlab-based tools for workflow optimization and the processing of analytical and test data.
• Documentation:
  Maintain comprehensive documentation of all processes, specifically regarding mathematical models and analytical/test outcomes.
