Your mission

Lead and manage a team of approximately 8 flight test engineers.
Guide and oversee flight testing activities for product certification with regulatory bodies (FAA, ANAC, JCAB, EASA).
Actively participate in Product Increment (PI) planning, representing the flight test team and ensuring alignment with product goals.
Plan and estimate flight testing tasks, manage resources, timelines, and logistics for testing and validation projects.
Apply expertise in UAV airworthiness and airmanship, ensuring safe and effective flight tests with appropriate instrumentation.
Review and release flight test plans, cards, and reports to ensure quality and accuracy
Work closely with certification, ground test, software, and hardware teams, and continuously improve flight test processes.

Your profile

You have a master’s degree in aviation engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a similar field.
You have 10+ years of professional experience in manned or unmanned flight testing.
You have more than 5 years of experience as a test manager.
You have Proven leadership experience in managing flight test engineers or similar technical teams.
You have experience in certification flight testing and working with regulatory authorities (ANAC, FAA, EASA, JCAB).
You bring a strong understanding of test-driven development, experience-based testing, and iterative V-model production development cycles.
You are familiar with Jira, Visure (requirement management tools), PX-4 auto flight controllers, and eVTOL UAS/manned aircraft systems. A1/A3 drone pilot license required.
