For our client HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH in Wetzlar near Frankfurt
, you will secure the supply of materials and services as an Operational Buyer Domestic & International
. You coordinate and monitor the entire procurement process from requirement to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 48,123€. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.04.2027.

• Procurement process implementation and monitoring from requirement to goods receipt
• Offer management including soliciting quotations and conducting price comparisons
• Order management with processing of order confirmations and delivery date monitoring
• Financial administration such as clarifying invoice or delivery discrepancies
• Quality control by handling defect complaints, claims, and repair orders
• Supplier management with correspondence with domestic and international suppliers or contacts
• Process optimization through support and close coordination with Strategic Procurement

• Professional experience in purchasing or procurement desirable
• Proficient use of ERP systems such as SAP MM module
• MS Office skills in the detailed specialist knowledge area
• German business fluent (at least C1), English proficient (at least B2)
• Independent working style, coordination, integration ability, and assertiveness
• Teamwork skills, high level of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
