* Responsibility for category and supplier management within the areas of Capex (machinery and equipment, construction) and facility services
* Development and implementation of cross-site category strategies
* Active management and optimization of supplier portfolios, including supplier consolidation and reduction initiatives
* Definition of sourcing strategies: initiating procurement processes, conducting tenders, selecting suppliers in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations
* Leading framework agreement and contract negotiations, as well as contract management activities
* Cross-functional collaboration within a global matrix organization
* Continuous identification and implementation of improvement and efficiency opportunities in both operational and strategic procurement#

Qualifications:

* Successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study
* 5-10 years of professional experience in indirect (global) category management or project procurement within an industrial company; experience in purchasing capital goods and complex services is an advantage
* Ideally experience with SAP S/4

HANA, SAP Ariba, or other eProcurement systems and reporting tools
* Hands-on mindset with a proactive, self-driven, and structured way of working; strong assertiveness, excellent negotiation skills, and outstanding communication abilities
