Role Overview

As Procurement Operations Specialist, you will be part of Hero's Procurement Shared Services organization and support the efficient execution of key procurement operations across the Group. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of procurement master data, support supplier onboarding and contract administration activities, resolve operational issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Working closely with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and suppliers, you will help deliver a high-quality service experience while supporting Hero's procurement transformation journey.

What You'll Achieve

Procurement Operations Excellence

  • Support the administration of procurement contracts and commercial conditions, including pricing and rebates.
  • Deliver reliable and efficient operational procurement support across the organization.
  • Act as a key user within Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes and support day-to-day procurement activities.

Master Data Management

  • Maintain and ensure the quality of procurement master data including suppliers, materials, pricing, and purchasing information.
  • Support data governance activities and drive data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
  • Assist with the maintenance and optimization of procurement-related databases and tools.
  • Support supplier onboarding and qualification processes.
  • Maintain supplier documentation and certificates in accordance with company requirements.
  • Monitor Code of Conduct compliance and support supplier documentation management activities.

Process Improvement & Digitalization

  • Contribute to procurement process standardization, harmonization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of e-catalogues and digital procurement solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve operational procurement activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Shared Services, IT teams, and suppliers.
  • Support the resolution of invoice and pricing discrepancies together with Accounts Payable and business stakeholders.
  • Deliver professional, responsive, and service-oriented support to internal and external partners.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, specialist diploma, or comparable professional qualification in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement operations, shared services, master data management, or a comparable administrative environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured working style.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and stakeholders.
  • Affinity for digital tools and process improvement.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with SAP and procurement systems.
  • Knowledge of procurement master data management and Purchase-to-Pay processes.
  • Experience with Sievo or procurement reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • German and/or Spanish language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a shared service or international business environment
