This is not a traditional sales management position.

This is a strategic leadership role with full responsibility for the growth, profitability, and long-term development of Fineline's Components Business across Europe.

As Director of Components Business – Europe, you define and execute the commercial strategy for the region, drive market expansion, and build sustainable customer relationships across key industry segments. You combine strategic vision with commercial leadership and work closely with both regional and global stakeholders to strengthen Fineline's position within the electronic components market.

Your tasks:

• Develop and execute the European growth strategy for the Components Business
• Drive sales, business development and market expansion across the European region
• Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and key customer relationships
• Build and strengthen relationships with OEM, EMS and industrial customers
• Own regional commercial performance, revenue growth, profitability and forecasting activities
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Procurement and Sourcing teams to ensure customer success and operational excellence
• Monitor market developments, competitive activity and industry trends, translating insights into business opportunities
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing European Components organization
• Establish clear commercial objectives and performance standards across the team
• Provide strategic recommendations, business updates and growth initiatives directly to the CEO
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between regional and global stakeholders
• Ensure sustainable and scalable growth aligned with Fineline's long-term business objectives

You work closely with:

• CEO – business strategy, growth objectives and executive alignment
• European Components Team – commercial execution, performance and team development
• Supply Chain & Sourcing Teams (China) – supplier management, sourcing strategy and operational excellence
• OEM, EMS & Industrial Customers – relationship management and business development
• Global Operations & Support Functions – cross-functional collaboration and customer success

Where others focus on individual opportunities, you shape the overall direction, performance and future growth of the Components Business across Europe.

You are responsible for both strategy and execution, balancing commercial ambition with sustainable profitability.

• 5+ years of experience in electronic components sales, business development, or leadership roles within the electronics industry
• Proven track record of driving business growth and commercial success within the European market
• Strong understanding of the electronic components industry and global supply chains
• Experience working with OEM, EMS and industrial customers across multiple European markets
• Demonstrated leadership experience in building, developing and managing successful teams
• Strong commercial acumen combined with strategic thinking and business planning capabilities
• Experience leading cross-functional and international collaboration in a matrix environment
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach
• Fluent English required; additional European languages are an advantage
