As Managing Director, you will assume overall responsibility for Promega GmbH and its assigned markets. You will lead the company commercially, strategically and culturally, translating local market opportunities, customer needs and global Promega objectives into a clear entrepreneurial direction.

In this role, the Managing Director serves as a key link between Promega Corporation and Promega GmbH and helps implement global and European priorities into local initiatives.

• Responsibility for business development in Germany, Austria, Poland and Central Eastern Europe.
• Development of sustainable growth strategies together with the leadership team.
• Strengthening existing customer relationships, identifying new market potential, and actively monitoring relevant developments in areas such as Genomics, Proteomics, Cell Analysis and Molecular Diagnostics.

• Leading and further developing an organization of approximately 170 employees.
• Targeted development of the leadership team, promotion of talent and forward-looking succession planning for key positions.
• Creating orientation, clear priorities and a way of working in which ownership is taken and cross-functional collaboration is actively practiced.

• Responsibility for the proper and forward-looking management of Promega GmbH.
• Steering key performance indicators, budget and cost responsibility, workforce planning, reporting to the shareholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and internal requirements.

• Representing Promega to customers, strategic partners, distributors, industry associations and other stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, decision-makers and partners.
• Participation in conferences, customer meetings and international leadership meetings. The position requires travel depending on business needs, up to approximately 40%.
