Legal Counsel - Technology and Commercial (m/f/d)

Provide legal advice to Advantest's European subsidiaries, focusing on software, open source, data, cybersecurity, and contract law. Knowledge of AI is a plus.

Draft, review and negotiate globally applicable national and international contracts, particularly licensing, software, service and other technology‑related agreements, in close collaboration with R&D and other departments.

Support legal issues related to the use of product and service data, and regulatory requirements, especially in the context of new European regulations.

Identify, analyze and develop practical solutions to complex legal issues with a balanced approach to risk and solutions.

Draft, refine and maintain contract templates and product‑specific terms and conditions.

Conduct legal training sessions for business departments and executives.

• Completion of Second State Examination in Law (Volljurist) or a comparable qualification (e.g. LL.M.)
• Several years of relevant professional experience in an international company or an internationally oriented law firm specializing in business law
• International legal experience and/or education is an advantage
• Fluency in spoken and written English and German is a mandatory requirement
• Very good proficiency in MS Office
• Enjoys working in an international team; strong communication skills; a structured and systematic working style; initiative; confident professional demeanor
