Embedded Software Engineer – Production Engineering

You’re passionate about embedded systems and love making hardware come to life? As an Embedded Software Engineer in our Production Engineering team, you’ll develop smart, robust software that powers the tools and test environments behind our next-generation drone and robotics systems. You’ll be a key player in ensuring that our production runs like clockwork—from automated test stands to seamless diagnostics and validation processes.

• Develop and maintain embedded software for test stands used in production

• Design, conceptualize, and implement hardware functionality tests

• Create and evolve test strategies for robust production validation

• Troubleshoot and solve issues in production setups—from code to hardware

• Support and continuously improve our software tools used in production environments

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field

• Solid experience with embedded systems and real-time development

• Ideally, you have experience working with Lab View and NI Test Stand.

• Deep knowledge of C/C++ and hands-on experience developing for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers

• Familiarity with C# or Python for developing frontend or desktop tools is a plus

• Comfortable working with hardware interfaces like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet

• A basic understanding of digital and analog electronics

• Confident using Git and modern collaborative development workflows

• You're curious, hands-on, and love exploring—whether it’s drones, 3D printing, or clever engineering hacks

• You communicate fluently in English and German
