Key responsibilities in your new role

• Develop cryptographic algorithms on an embedded controller, considering the balance between security, code size, performance, and maintainability.
• Test, debug, and optimize software on Infineon’s Security Devices.
• Implement test cases for automated regression testing.
• Execute threat modeling, code reviews, and documentation.
• Work in a very integrated multinational team, supporting each other and collaborating on the same code base through pair‑programming to ensure excellent results that comply with the highest security standards.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3‑5 years of experience in Crypto Firmware Development or a similar area.
• Good knowledge of side‑channel attacks (DPA), differential fault attacks (DFA), probing attacks, and experience with the corresponding state‑of‑the‑art countermeasures.
• Good know‑how in embedded microcontroller programming (e.g., ARM Cortex) using assembler, C, and object‑oriented programming.
• Good experience with symmetric, asymmetric, hash‑based, or post‑quantum cryptographic algorithms.
• Experience with security measures in microcontrollers and/or circuit design.
• Ability to generate software with a focus on outstanding quality by employing an accurate, reliable, and systematic attitude to work.
• Fluency in English;
  German is an asset.
