Integration Engineer

Job Description

In this role, you will drive measurable improvements in performance and reliability for our Linux‑based patient monitoring platform by building automated measurement pipelines, turning telemetry into actionable insights, and enabling Agile product teams to deliver more reliable devices for global markets.

Job Title:

Integration Engineer (all genders) – Böblingen, Germany

• Design and run automated performance & reliability tests (load, latency, resource profiling, fault injection/chaos)
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (pre-merge and release gates) and maintain reproducible test environments
• Deploy and operate observability and telemetry stacks (metrics, tracing, dashboards, long‑term storage) and automate data collection/aggregation
• Analyze measured data and pair with Agile teams to implement and validate fixes
• Coach teams on measurable performance requirements and embed reliability practices into the SDLC
• Support production performance/reliability incidents with root‑cause analysis and follow‑up actions

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Technical Engineering, Medical Engineering
• 5 years Linux expertise and embedded software experience (cross‑compile, tool chains, constrained resources)
• Embedded Linux expertise (ideal Yocto experience)
• Analytical mind with strong debugging skills in embedded software systems
• Understanding of performance optimizations in embedded systems
• Senior C++ and Python knowledge
• Experience with automated performance/reliability testing and observability tooling
• CI/CD automation skills and strong scripting (Python, Bash, Git Hub workflows)
• Open communicator, collaborating with many teams
• Experience in product development with a platform approach (platform architecture, reusable components, variant management)

Base salary range: €93,050.83 – €. This range is determined by objective factors such as required skills, relevant experience, and responsibility level, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.

Short‑Term Incentive eligibility: rewards linked to individual performance and company results, discussed during the interview process.
