In this role, you will work as part of an international team on software test systems for helicopter flight control systems
. Your focus will be on executing, analyzing and evaluating tests on dedicated avionics test benches. You will analyze requirements and test specifications, prepare test cases and test environments, and execute tests under various flight conditions. A key part of your role will be your ability to technically evaluate test results, identify anomalies and provide precise feedback to software developers. In addition, you will continuously improve existing test methods, tools and processes.

, with the following responsibilities:
- Analyze test requirements, test specifications and software requirements and derive the necessary test activities
- Create and prepare test cases, test procedures and test environments
- Execute software tests on avionics software test benches
, including the simulation of defined flight situations and flight conditions - Perform detailed analysis and evaluation of test results
, identify anomalies and derive technical conclusions - Document test results in test reports and provide precise and relevant feedback to software development teams
- Systematically investigate faults and unexpected system behavior and support the development of workarounds and sustainable solutions
- Use appropriate measurement and analysis tools
, such as multimeters and MATLAB, to investigate and visualize test data - Support users in the operation of test systems and associated tools
- Develop and automate recurring test and engineering tasks using basic coding and scripting skills
- Continuously improve test methods, tools and test environments to increase testing efficiency
- Collaborate with software developers, system engineers and other technical stakeholders in an international engineering environment
- Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in software testing, system testing, avionics, embedded systems or a comparable engineering discipline
- Ability to understand and technically evaluate complex test results and derive relevant conclusions and recommendations for action
- Basic coding and scripting skills
, with experience in a programming language such as C and/or Bash - Basic knowledge of Linux and terminal environments
- Knowledge of avionics, embedded systems, flight mechanics or complex technical systems
- Knowledge of Ansys SCADE or model-based development environments for the development, verification and generation of certified embedded software is an advantage
- Knowledge of signal processing, bus communication and data bus standards such as ARINC 429 and MIL-STD-1553 is an advantage
