Software Developer​/Architect embedded time software; d​/f​/m

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS Defence and Space, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.

The position holder (d/f/m) works as Embedded Software Architect - Avionics & Real-Time Systems (Software Developer / Architect for Embedded Real-Time Software).

Your Tasks

• Design, develop and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems
• Develop and integrate real-time, safety-critical embedded software
• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems
• Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards such as DO-178C and DO-254 and with safety-critical software development practices
• Perform mission system integration activities on hardware for various projects
• Conduct software testing, validation and verification in accordance with aerospace requirements

Your Profile

• Master's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable field
• More than 3 years of professional experience in IT / information systems
• More than 3 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
• Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications is required
• Experience with C/C++ and/or Ada and real-time operating systems such as VxWorks is required
• Experience with avionics standards such as ARINC 653 and DO-178C and safety-critical software development
• Experience with virtualization technologies, including resource segregation and drivers
• Knowledge of hardware architectures such as x86, ARM and RISC-V
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies
• Fluent English (negotiation level);
  German is an advantage
