Join J&T Express at an exciting stage of our growth journey. We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Fleet Manager to oversee our vehicle fleet, ensure safe and efficient operations and drive continuous improvements in fleet performance and cost efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a fleet of 50+ vehicles, including heavy‑duty trucks (40T)
• Handle the entire vehicle lifecycle, including leasing, procurement, maintenance and replacement
• Ensure fleet availability, operational efficiency and cost control
• Ensure compliance with German and EU transportation regulations and safety standards
• Manage and support drivers in daily operations
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections and insurance matters
• Handle traffic accidents, violations, insurance claims and safety incidents
• Implement preventive maintenance plans and driver safety training
• Monitor fleet performance, mileage, maintenance costs and accident rates
• Coordinate with workshops, leasing companies and external service providers
• Prepare fleet reports and identify cost optimisation opportunities
• Collaborate with Operations and international management teams

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in fleet management
• Proven experience managing fleets of 50+ vehicles
• Experience managing heavy‑duty trucks (40T) and drivers is required
• Strong knowledge of German and EU transportation regulations and vehicle safety requirements
• Experience in logistics, transportation or parcel delivery
• Good analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and fleet management systems
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills
• Independent, hands‑on and solution‑oriented working style
• Good English communication skills are required
• Additional languages (German, Polish, Turkish or Chinese) are an advantage
• Transport Manager qualification / CPC is a plus
