Area Sales Manager, Heavy Duty Forklift (m/f/d) YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the sales and business development of:

• Heavy Duty Forklifts
• Empty Container Handlers
• Material Handlers
• E-Terminal Tractors
• DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland)
  Key Responsibilities:
  Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and expand business opportunities across the DACH market.
  • Identify and acquire new customers within the assigned territory.
  • Manage and further develop existing key accounts.
  • Achieve sales targets and support sustainable business growth.
  • Monitor market developments, customer requirements, industry trends, and competitor activities.

  Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate commercial solutions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

  Sales Process Management

  • Manage the complete sales process from lead generation and opportunity development through quotation, negotiation, contract signing, and order realization.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and regular business reports.
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure successful project execution and customer support.

  Market Promotion

  • Represent SANY at trade fairs, exhibitions, customer events, and industry conferences.
  • Support local marketing and promotional activities across the DACH region.
  • Promote SANY products and strengthen brand awareness within the market.

Qualifications & Experience

• Several years of successful sales experience, preferably in:
  • Port Machinery
  • Material Handling Equipment
  • Heavy Equipment
  • Construction Machinery
  • Related Industries
• Strong knowledge and experience of the DACH market.
• Proven ability to develop business and manage customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Fluent German and very good English, both written and spoken.
• Additional foreign languages are considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40%-60% within the DACH region.
• Proactive, independent, and customer-oriented working style.
• Exceptional candidates with outstanding industry expertise and strong customer resources may be considered even if they do not meet all of the above requirements.
