Business Manager Risklab; f​/m​/d

Overview

The Business Management team for Public Markets supports the leadership of the Investment Platform in strategy development and implementation, project management, governance and oversight, budget management, and business data analytics.

As a Business Manager for risklab, you will focus on supporting the strategic development and day-to-day management of AllianzGI’s risklab business. You will work closely with the Head of risklab and the leadership team, as well as colleagues across the broader Public Markets Business Management area.

This role will be based in Munich or Frankfurt.

• Support the Head of risklab in the daily management, development and positioning of AllianzGI’s investment setup in the risklab area
• Prepare business cases, decision papers and management presentations in strong collaboration with senior decision makers across the company
• Contribute to and manage initiatives and projects to drive efficiency, profitability, competitiveness and growth of AllianzGI’s risklab business
• Participate as a representative of the risklab and Business Management in various types of internal and cross-functional topics and working groups
• Support the budget management & financial controlling/ steering of the risklab area
• Be responsible for coordinating and documenting risklab management meetings and governance elements

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics with excellent results
• Relevant experience in the financial industry or in consulting
• Strong interest in and aptitude for business management–related topics
• High interest in Solutions & Advisory business and portfolio management–related topics
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Confidence in working with large and complex data sets
• Experience in leading or coordinating projects
• Comfort with exposure to senior management
• Strong strategic thinking skills
• High degree of self-organization and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work effectively under time pressure and manage multiple topics simultaneously
• Proficiency in German and English; additional languages are a plus
• Experience in the Advisory and Investment Solutions area (through a current or previous role or project exposure) is a plus
• Good knowledge of AllianzGI and the structure and setup of its Investment Platform is a plus
• Experience with Data Analytics, Data Visualization and Microsoft Co Pilot
