Senior Test Automation Engineer – m​/f​/d

Responsibilities

• You develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests) and continuously expand our test automation.
• You help shape our test frameworks, focusing on maintainability and scalability, and introduce best practices.
• You build our performance and load tests from the ground up, analyze how changes affect our web apps using Azure tools, and help the team identify bottlenecks early.
• You integrate tests into our pipelines so that quality is an integral part of our development process.
• You create test strategies and test cases to systematically ensure the quality of our software.
• Where automation is not appropriate, you perform targeted manual and exploratory testing.
• You find bugs, document them clearly, and work closely with the development teams on solutions.
• You optimize testing processes, introduce new tools and methods (including AI‑assisted ones), and help the team continuously improve software quality.

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• You have experience in test automation for web applications, are familiar with manual testing methods, and know test frameworks such as xUnit.
• You are proficient in C# and have ideally worked with .NET (preferably recent versions) and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Rest Sharp) is a plus.
• You have experience integrating tests into Git Lab CI/CD pipelines.
• Ideally, you are also familiar with performance testing tools (e.g., Azure Load Testing) and Azure (especially Web Apps, Application Insights).
• You have a good understanding of clean code and write tests that are maintainable and traceable.
