You will be part of the 22
FDX product development team turning state of the art research into innovative volume production ready technology features. Our technology development team is embedded in the Global Foundries ULP CMOS product line in our state-of-the-art 300 mm wafer fab (Fab1) in Dresden, Germany. The Technology Development Lead Process Integrator has full technical ownership for the development of process technology solutions that provide leadership solutions for our customers.
Job
- Physical and electrical characterization of advanced semiconductor features
- Design and analysis of experiments to improve specific performance parameters
- Coordinate technology development tasks in a volume production infrastructure
- Collaborate in cross functional teams to address and solve highly cross-linked technology challenges for optimized quality, performance, and manufacturability
- Networks with research institutes to explore opportunities bridging leading scientific research into industry applications
- Collaborates with customers and drive technical solutions to support customer needs
- Defines and runs technical feasibility studies
- Provides technical support to other teams and departments
- Communicates and presents project results and updates to key stakeholders, both internal and external to Global Foundries
- M.Sc. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or other relevant technical discipline is required;
PhD will be beneficial - Profound knowledge of modern CMOS process integration and its key techniques, such as CVD, lithography, RIE, etc
- Experience in FDSOI is a plus
- Knowledge in Test Chip Design, T/O, Design Rules, Technology-Design Interactions
- Solid foundation in statistics, data analysis techniques and tools
- Both, the ability to work in high-performance cross-functional teams as well as to work independently is a prerequisite
- Excellent English skills are required (at least C1); proficiency in the German language is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
The position is open-ended and to be filled as soon as possible.
