Senior OpenStack Engineer

Are you an experienced Open Stack Engineer looking to work with modern cloud infrastructure? Join our team and help build, operate and continuously improve innovative public and private cloud platforms.

We’re looking for a technically skilled professional with strong Linux and Open Stack expertise who enjoys solving complex challenges and automating infrastructure at scale.

• Develop, operate and enhance public and private cloud platforms based on Open Stack.
• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of cloud services as part of our CLOUD4
  
  EUROPE strategy.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Operate and maintain Ceph-based storage clusters using cephadm.
• Automate infrastructure configuration and service deployment using Ansible and Kolla containers.
• Work with a broad range of Open Stack services, including Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Glance and Cinder.
• Support the reliability, performance and scalability of cloud infrastructure.

• A degree in Computer Science, relevant IT training or equivalent professional experience.
• At least two years of hands‑on experience operating Open Stack environments.
• Strong Linux administration skills and experience with networking technologies such as BGP, DNS, NTP, load balancing and overlay networks.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Podman.
• Knowledge of Ceph storage, ideally including cephadm.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and Open Stack deployment using Kolla containers.
• Knowledge of monitoring and infrastructure tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, RabbitMQ and Elasticsearch is an advantage.
• A proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Very good German and English language skills.
