How you will make an impact?
As a Procurement Consultant
, you will manage strategic procurement activities for IT products and services. You will advise internal stakeholders, lead competitive sourcing processes and negotiate commercially attractive and sustainable agreements.
Acting as the interface between our internal teams and external suppliers, you will help translate business and technology requirements into effective sourcing strategies. You will also contribute to supplier performance, category initiatives and the continuous development of our procurement approach.
Job DescriptionYour Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities for IT products and services from initial demand through supplier selection, negotiation and contracting;
- Advise and support internal stakeholders in developing the appropriate sourcing and procurement approach;
- Prepare, lead and execute RFIs, RFPs and other competitive sourcing processes;
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, considering price, quality, risk, flexibility and long‑term business value;
- Analyze supplier proposals and create transparent commercial evaluations and management recommendations;
- Act as a key interface between internal stakeholders, Legal, Finance, Security and external suppliers;
- Support contract development and ensure that commercial requirements, responsibilities and deliverables are clearly defined;
- Manage supplier relationships and contribute to structured governance, performance reviews and continuous improvement;
- Identify opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership, consolidate demand and optimise the supplier portfolio;
- Contribute to category strategies, market analyses and procurement initiatives;
- Support procurement‑related projects and continuously improve sourcing processes, templates and ways of working;
- Manage several procurement activities in parallel while ensuring quality, transparency and timely delivery.
Required key competencies and qualifications:
- Several years of professional experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management or a comparable commercial role;
- Solid understanding of IT procurement, including software, cloud, professional services, managed services or other IT‑related categories;
- Experience in leading sourcing processes and commercial negotiations with national and international suppliers;
- Good understanding of commercial and contractual models, such as fixed‑price, time‑and‑materials, subscription, managed‑service and outcome‑based arrangements;
- Ability to analyse complex offers and translate commercial information into clear recommendations;
- Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to build credibility across different functions and seniority levels;
- Confidence in challenging requirements and supplier proposals constructively;
- A proactive, structured and results‑oriented working style;
- Ability to work independently, prioritise a varied workload and meet agreed deadlines;
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills;
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the further development of the procurement organisation;
