** Job Summary
** The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing end‐to‐end logistics operations, including export customs compliance, transportation management, and local delivery coordination. This role ensures efficient, compliant, and cost‐effective movement of goods while leveraging
** SAP systems
** for planning, execution, and reporting. The Logistics Specialist leads logistics activities, coordinates with internal teams and external partners, and drives continuous improvement across the supply chain.
** Key Responsibilities
**** 1. Logistics & Transportation Management
*** Manage daily logistics operations covering inbound, outbound, and local deliveries
* Plan and optimize transportation modes and routes to ensure on‐time and cost‐effective delivery
* Oversee coordination with freight forwarders, carriers, and local transport providers
* Monitor shipment performance and implement corrective actions for delays or service failures
** 2. Export Customs & Compliance
*** Oversee all
** export customs matters**, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations
* Ensure accurate preparation and review of export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export declarations
* Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance
* Stay updated on customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, and Incoterms
* Manage customs audits and regulatory inquiries where required
** 3. Local Delivery Coordination
*** Manage and optimize
** local delivery operations**, including scheduling and route planning
* Coordinate closely with warehouses, transporters, and customer service teams
* Track delivery performance, proof of delivery (POD), and customer feedback
* Resolve local delivery issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
** 4. SAP & Systems Management
*** Utilize
** SAP (e.g. MM, SD, LE, or WM modules)
** for logistics execution and shipment tracking
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry for deliveries, shipments, and billing-related logistics activities
* Generate logistics reports using SAP to monitor KPIs such as delivery performance, lead time, and cost
