Associate Professor / Professor – Clinical Neuropsychology (Female Only)
We invite applications for an Associate Professor (Level D) or Professor (Level E) specializing in clinical neuropsychology at UNSW Sydney. This position is open to female applicants only, in accordance with UNSW’s exemption under section 126 of the Anti‑Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).

- Level D: $185 K–$204 K per annum, plus 17 % superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Level E: $237 K per annum, plus 17 % superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Full‑time, 35 hours per week.
- Carries no direct reports and reports to the Head of School.
- Apply a well‑defined teaching philosophy and a critically reflective teaching practice that inspires student learning in neuropsychology.
- Lead the review, development and ongoing delivery of the Masters Clinical Neuropsychology (MCN) programme and neuropsychology teaching within the Masters Clinical Psychology programme.
- Manage curriculum administration as Programme and Course authority for the MCN, including academic quality assurance.
- Engage in peer review and disseminate best practice in education.
- Conduct classes, assess student learning achievements and support students in postgraduate and undergraduate courses.
- Design and develop learning activities and resources, and provide assessment and feedback at both course and programme level.
- Contribute to support strategies for learning progression that enable positive outcomes for students.
- Collaborate to attract internal and external education funding opportunities.
- Lead School and Faculty meetings and seminars, and serve on School, Faculty and University committees as required.
- Provide administrative leadership at School and/or University level, including coordination of courses, departmental and/or faculty meetings.
- Collaborate with peers across the school and the university, contributing to national dialogues in teaching and learning.
- Engage with academic, professional and international organisations relevant to the School and Faculty objectives.
- Carry out original and innovative research in clinical neuropsychology, contributing to national and emerging international impact.
- Develop a distinguished research programme at UNSW and build research groups in specialist expertise.
- Demonstrate a substantial record of research income, primarily as a grant application leader.
- Lead significant research proposals and obtain research income from end‑users.
- Achieve peer recognition at national level and establish research networks.
- Mentor and guide students, post‑doctoral fellows, and supervise HDRs to timely completion.
- Undertake knowledge exchange activities and contribute to commercialisation of research outcomes.
- Participate in major research collaborations.
- Align with and actively demonstrate the Code of Conduct and Values.
- Cooperate with all health and safety policies and take reasonable care for the safety of all.
- Engage, lead and foster a culture of excellence in neuropsychology research and deliver outstanding research of international significance.
- Achieve significant competitive government and industry research funding and publish in high‑quality outlets.
- Maintain a distinguished research programme, including research groups in clinical neuropsychology.
