UNIX System Admin; Solaris

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Unix System Administrator with a strong background in Solaris SPARC and Red Hat Linux environments. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining, configuring, and optimizing Unix systems infrastructure, with hands‑on experience in VERITAS Cluster Server and Volume Manager (Infoscale Suite).

• Lead the administration, configuration, and support of Solaris SPARC and Red Hat Linux systems.

• Manage and maintain VERITAS Cluster Server and VERITAS Volume Manager (Infoscale).

• Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning across Unix environments.

• Oversee patch management, OS upgrades, and system monitoring.

• Work closely with application, database, and network teams for smooth operations.

• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide root cause analysis.

• Document system configurations and maintenance procedures.

• Mentor junior team members and lead technical initiatives.

• + years of hands‑on Unix system administration experience.

• Strong expertise in Solaris SPARC and Red Hat Linux
