Planning and implementing IT security strategies and policies, supporting the Information Security Officer; rolling out information security management policies and implementing or adapting the emergency plan; managing the automated detection and response system and vulnerability management; supporting penetration tests and security-related projects; initiating and monitoring IT security measures; identifying, investigating, and forensically documenting security incidents; and advising other departments on IT security matters.

• Completed studies in computer science, or alternatively a comparable qualification or extensive professional experience
• Solid knowledge in the configuration, maintenance and monitoring of firewalls, VPNs or IDS/IPS systems
• Expertise in identifying vulnerabilities in systems and networks through methods such as audits, penetration tests, or risk analyses.
• Prior experience in creating and enforcing IT security policies and emergency plans in accordance with compliance requirements such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and BSI Basic Protection is desirable.
• Excellent German skills, both spoken and written.
• Communication and teamwork skills
