* * Germany - Frankfurt Main assignments:
* Independent planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation of laboratory tests and test series for the development of inorganic paints
* implementation of product adaptations
* supervision of products until transfer to production
* creation of QA specifications; processing of complaints; support of production
* Creating and presenting the developed test plans for various development projects
* Acquiring and reading the available technical literature on the respective projects
* Compiling documents as well as auxiliary and operating materials (e.g., solvents, raw materials, standard samples, etc.)
* Conceptual collaboration on new test procedures
* If necessary, adapting test equipment in consultation with the laboratory manager.
* Preparing, executing, and evaluating complex preparative tasks
* Checking technical documentation
* Performing, analyzing, and evaluating laboratory work and tests
* Conducting and evaluating production and/or customer trials
* Creating data and documents
* Supervising trainees
* Preparing and conducting product-related presentations and training materials

Required skills:

* At least a master's degree in materials science, inorganic chemistry, or a related technical field.
* 1–2 years of professional experience, preferably in research and development of glass, glass ceramics, or ceramics.
* Knowledge of material analysis and validation using techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), XRD, XRF, thermal analysis, hot stage microscopy, and dilatometry.
* Systematic approach to work, analytical thinking, time management, ability to work in a team, organizational skills, intercultural competence
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
