Senior Project Manager – Professional Services (m/w/d)

We are currently looking for a German speaking Senior Project Manager – Professional Services to support our team in Frankfurt, Germany. The successful candidate will take on a portfolio of challenging yet rewarding professional services projects for our Balance Sheet Management clients across Europe.

The role lies at the intersection of our experienced consultancy for product implementations and the newly formed Project Management Office, applying standards and governance to all FIS professional services projects.

• Manage a portfolio of projects, including budgeting, tracking, administration, and leading diverse teams
• Influence clients and stakeholders through clear, confident project status presentations and governance
• Ensure quality standards and accountability; apply change control for scope or timeline deviations
• Use tools like Planview and  for planning, risk analysis, resource forecasting, and reporting
• Confidently lead meetings, video conferences, and occasional onsite client visits
• Drive process improvements by leveraging your network across FIS

• 5–10 years’ experience delivering professional service projects for large organizations
• Strong knowledge of project management standards and IT methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)
• Familiarity with financial services or ability to adapt from other industries
• Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, conflict management, and time management skills
• Resilience, discretion, and persistence to manage long‑term projects with setbacks
• Business‑level fluency in German and English for leading complex stakeholder meetings

• Experience in Fintech or Banking Risk sector
• Formal project management qualifications
