The Visualization Specialist is responsible for crafting immersive digital experiences that bring Kia’s design concepts to life in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). This role combines technical execution with artistic vision, supporting internal design reviews, global collaboration sessions, and the creation of high‑end visuals for internal and external presentations. The Visualization Specialist plays a critical role in evolving real‑time design workflows and integrating emerging technologies.

Virtual Design Review & Execution

• Create and execute immersive design reviews in VR/AR environments using real‑time 3D tools like VRED or UNREAL.
• Set up and manage daily design review sessions on VR/AR platforms, including multi‑site collaboration with overseas studios.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date digital content for visualization platforms such as LED Walls.

Creative Visual Content Production

• Produce high‑quality artwork renderings and animations for internal decision‑making and external events (e.g., press kits, shows).
• Showcase automotive design intent with photo‑realistic quality and dramatic visual storytelling.

Technology Integration & Development

• Evaluate and implement new software and hardware tools into the real‑time visualization workflow.
• Collaborate with IT and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across platforms.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends in AR, digital twins, and interactive design presentation methods.

• University Degree in Computer Graphics, Transportation Design, Visualization, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in CG and/or automotive industry.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English, displaying excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
• Artistic talent and ability with solid design sense, an eye for proportion, lighting, and dramatic effect.
• Showcasing automotive designs with photorealistic digital renderings and compelling visualization.
• Processing 3D data, creating digital assets and supporting VR/ AR design reviews.
• Expert knowledge of VRED/ UNREAL and offline renders in MAX/ MAYA.
• Knowledge of Alias/ Substance and AI workflows is a plus.
• Passion for new technologies and the latest presentation techniques.
• Excellent communicator, team player, resourceful, organized and mindful of time management.
