Scientist – Quantum Sensors & Qubit Technology; m​/f​/d

The Semiconductor Laboratory (HLL) of the Max Planck Society, located on the research campus in Garching near Munich, is a leading facility for the development of highly precise radiation sensors and detector systems. On approximately 1,400 m² of cleanroom space, HLL develops, fabricates and tests advanced semiconductor detectors for applications in X-ray astronomy, particle physics and materials research. With around 50 employees from different nationalities, HLL provides a highly international and interdisciplinary environment in which scientists, engineers and technology specialists work closely together across the entire development chain — from fundamental research and simulation to device design, fabrication and experimental characterization.
