We are looking for a Senior Marketing Expert (x|f|m) for the Marketing Strategy & Market Intelligence BPS department at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this role, you will be part of the Marketing Organisation and play an integral role in shaping how our portfolio is taken to market across the company. Working within a defined area of expertise (such as platforms, core portfolio, or modalities), you will set the strategic direction for how our portfolio is marketed.

This is a senior individual contributor role for an experienced marketing professional who thrives in complex matrix environments and leads through expertise, clarity, and delivery rather than formal authority.

• Lead the delivery of marketing initiatives within your area of expertise to drive coherent and high‑impact execution outside day‑to‑day campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic marketing goals
• Collaborate across Business Units, regions, and marketing teams to secure alignment, strengthen coherence, and ensure adoption of marketing direction
• Translate complex portfolios into clear, customer‑focused positioning and messaging that reflect company strategy and priorities, informed by customer and market insights
• Provide senior marketing expertise to shape strategic direction and ensure that positioning, messaging, and execution across teams consistently adhere to enterprise‑wide marketing standards
• Anticipate, identify and address risks related to readiness, coherence, or market clarity to safeguard the effective implementation of marketing initiatives
• Contribute to the development and refinement of marketing frameworks, standards, and best practices to advance marketing excellence across the organization

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field
• Industry experience in life sciences, bioprocessing, advanced therapies, or similarly complex environments
• Several years of experience in senior marketing or commercial roles in complex B2B environments
• Proven ability to shape marketing direction beyond individual products or campaigns
• Experience managing marketing initiatives with defined budgets and cross‑functional stakeholders in matrix organizations
• Strong communication, strategic thinking and influencing skills
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
