Shore Excursion Manager German Speaking

• Advice and sale of shore excursions on board as well as their accompaniment on site
• Timely and intensive technical preparation for the respective ports and destinations
• Independent and responsible correspondence with the responsible shore excursion agencies in consultation with the Shore Excursion Manager
• Preparation of excursion reports, as well as port information / site maps
• Responsibility for all luggage on board (embarkation, handling of lost luggage, handling of luggage damage)
• Presence in the guest area and active host for the guests
• Taking care of guests during the outward and return flights, as well as on pre- and post-programs

What you bring on board:

• Specialist training as a travel agent or tourism specialist
• Several years of experience in a related position on board cruise ships (e.g. as tour guide, cruise tour guide, etc.)
• Very good worldwide destination knowledge
• Very good knowledge of German (mother tongue) and English (spoken and written), further foreign languages desirable
• Good PC skills, especially MS Office applications, Fidelio Cruise and DaVinci desirable
