Support and Service Technician (m/f/d)

• First contact person for customers, technicians and sales for service and support, e.g. maintenance and repair
• Technical support including troubleshooting, elimination, and initiation of corrective measures via remote maintenance, and onsite support when necessary
• Interface with the design and development department
• Project management for the development and implementation of software, electronics, calibrators, and other special machines
• Support and management of external partners for accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001
• Perform calibrations of flow meters for liquids and gases, and commission and modify our systems
• Assembly and commissioning of new machines at customer sites, including instruction of operating personnel
• Preventive maintenance (inspection & maintenance)
• Monitoring of test equipment
• Organization of internal and external interlaboratory comparisons of our calibrators
• Consulting and training of customers on site and by telephone
• Preparation of technical reports and documentation

• Completed apprenticeship or studies as mechatronics engineer, electrician, or electronics engineer
• Knowledge in software and electronics development, control engineering, and machine or plant construction
• Proficient in German or English; knowledge of French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, or Chinese is an advantage
• Competent, trustworthy, and confident customer presence
• Willingness to travel 20% within Germany, Europe, and occasionally internationally
