OUR PURPOSE AT PLANCRAFT

Building the backbone of European trades together with AI and voice-first software.

We’re not just building software; we’re on a mission to create space for contractors and tradespeople by equipping them with AI solutions that work the way they do: fast, practical, and voice-first. With Tier‑1 investors from Europe and the US such as Headline and Creandum, and a customer base of 20,000 tradespeople, we’re scaling across Europe to turn scattered tradespeople into thriving communities.

We believe in zero admin, not zero personality, and we build every feature with the people who wear the boots, not the suits, in mind. We’re #stoked to shape the future #together as a team and #humble in our mission to support the builders of tomorrow.

YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT

As Plancraft’s first VP Product you take on a defining leadership role at a pivotal moment in our journey. You turn strategy into clarity, build the product foundations we will scale on for years, and create the momentum and focus that enable our teams to deliver exceptional work. You guide senior product leaders, shape how our squads operate, and turn high‑level beliefs into product experiences that move the company forward.

This is a rare opportunity to step in early, shape the DNA of a growing product organization, and leave a lasting mark on Plancraft’s trajectory and on the future of how we build category‑defining software.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Translate Plancraft’s product strategy into a focused, actionable set of initiatives that drive measurable activation, adoption, retention, and commercial impact.
  • Provide strong enablement and leadership to three direct reports (Head of PM, Head of UX Research & Insights Lead) and guide a growing product organization of 15 people, setting clear expectations, coaching leaders, and creating an environment where PMs, designers, and researchers can do their best work.
  • Collaborate closely with the CPO as your key strategic sparring partner, shaping priorities, aligning on strategic beliefs, and ensuring that high‑level direction translates into clear product decisions and effective execution across squads.
  • Build a deeply AI‑first product culture by shaping discovery methods, design patterns, squad structures, and decision frameworks around AI‑powered workflows that create real user value.
  • Drive multi‑market readiness by ensuring localisation, compliance, scalability, and excellent UX across core workflows, creating a product loved by tradespeople in every market.
  • Strengthen alignment between strategy, quarterly objectives, and day‑to‑day product decisions so squads always understand why their work matters and how it connects to our mission.
  • Partner closely with the VP Engineering to ensure predictable, high‑quality execution and to define shared principles for planning, velocity, quality, and accountability across squads.
  • Communicate product progress, learnings, risks, roadmap shifts, and strategic bets clearly across the company, ensuring shared context and transparency at all levels.
  • Enable fast, insight‑driven decision‑making by ensuring customer signals, research findings, and usage data flow effectively across all squads.
  • Own staffing and capacity planning for the product organization so the right people work on the highest‑leverage problems, adjusting focus based on strategy opportunities or market needs.
  • Build strong cross‑functional partnerships with GTM, Biz Ops, and Expansion to align product decisions with adoption, retention, ARPA, and expansion goals.
  • Champion continuous improvement across product, raising the bar for innovation, speed, delivery discipline, quality, and customer impact quarter after quarter.
YOUR PROFILE Must‑haves
  • Extensive experience in SaaS product leadership at meaningful scale (15 people across PM, UX, Research).
  • Proven ability to define sequence and prioritise strategic product initiatives over 12–18 months.
  • Ability to identify the product metrics that truly move the needle and a proven track record of shifting them through focused execution.
  • Demonstrated organisational leadership across two layers, including setting expectations, structuring teams, and…
