Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer (m/f/d), you will take ownership of the complete product testing process – from electronics to software, from the lab to real underwater environments.

You ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and perform reliably under any condition.

Your responsibilities include:

• Defining, planning, and documenting test requirements for hardware, software, and system testing
• Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and validation procedures
• Setting up and maintaining test environments and test benches
• Conducting functional, integration, system, and environmental tests
• Developing automated test setups and scripts
• Analyzing results, preparing test reports, and tracking issues to resolution
• Collaborating closely with development teams to improve design quality and product robustness
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of test strategies and processes

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Physics, or similar
• Experience in testing complex technical systems (preferably embedded or communication systems)
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and system-level testing methods
• Experience in test automation (e.g. using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools)
• Familiar with laboratory and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, environmental chambers, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and structured working style
• Good command of English (German is a plus)
• Team player with initiative and a hands-on mentality
