Your position

As a Senior Contract Manager in Semco Maritime, you will be part of our dedicated Contract Management Team. Our mission is to secure effective, compliant and value-creating contract execution across large-scale renewable energy projects. You will work closely with our project teams and stakeholders to navigate complex contractual landscapes – ensuring risks are managed, obligations are met, and opportunities are maximized.

Your place of work will be at our office in either Hamburg or Copenhagen - depending on your preference and location. The position is full-time, and you can expect to have 10-30 days of travel per year.

“We are looking for a colleague who can confidently manage complex contract environments, contribute to our processes, and share experience to strengthen the entire team.”
– Susanne Gren Harstad, Head of Contract Management

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a Senior Contract Manager, your tasks will include but are not limited to:

Contract life cycle management
  • Negotiating drafting and managing large scale service contracts, including flow-down requirements to subcontractors and suppliers
  • Identifying and mitigating commercial risks in collaboration with project teams
  • Managing invoicing and payment milestones to ensure timely cash flow
Project & stakeholder support
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to project managers and commercial teams
  • Preparing clear management reports and ensuring transparent communication
Continuous improvement & knowledge sharing
  • Contributing to the development of our contract management framework
  • Sharing lessons learned and best practices across the organization
Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for a proactive and structured contracts professional who has a collaborative approach and a strong sense of responsibility.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • A master’s degree in commercial law or relevant
  • Solid experience with contract and claim management in offshore/marine environments
  • Familiarity with large-scale service contracts in the offshore or related industries
  • Fluency in German and English – written and spoken

In the Contract Management team, we support and bring out the best in each other – because we know this fuels our collective energy. We value good humour, social connection, and a “we’ve got your back” mentality.

We conduct our interviews on an ongoing basis, so if you are interested, please submit your application as soon as possible.
