Lead Software Engineer

FEV etamax GmbH is a growing technology company and we need you for that! Our business is safety-critical software and systems, which we process from A for analysis to Z for zero fault tolerance. Our customers include leading companies in the aerospace, transportation and automotive industries.
Work together with us on projects that move!

• You assess and understand the scope and use case of complex software applications.
• You analyze software requirements and interface documentation, then design the appropriate architecture.
• You implement and integrate software for distributed systems.
• You automate the whole software engineering process following the Dev Ops approach with a special focus on test automation
• You ensure software quality by code reviews and software tests on various levels.
• You coordinate technical aspects within your team and work closely with customers, following agile or safety-critical standards.
• You have completed a degree or similar education in the computer science or information technology domain.
• You bring at least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• You have a broad technology stack, including professional experience with object-oriented programming, scripting languages, and embedded software development.
• You are familiar with working in both Linux and Windows environments.
• You have a strong awareness of quality assurance and know how to maintain high software standards.
• You have a solid understanding of test automation, with experience in GUI test automation considered a plus.
• You have experience with Dev Ops tools like Git Lab, Git, and Jenkins.
• You possess an agile mindset and creativity to find suitable software solutions.
• You have excellent communication skills in English; strong German skills would be a plus.
