Mobile Engineer — React Native (m/f/d) in Hamburg

Your responsibilities

• Maintain and develop our native apps, which are white-labeled iOS and Android applications for our clients' customers and employees.
• Develop using React Native, sharing approximately 80% of the codebase with our web app, and ensure feature parity while optimizing UI/UX for each platform.
• Improve our CI/CD processes for native apps.
• Automate deployment of new apps using Fastlane and Code Push.
• Evaluate and implement deployment process improvements, potentially using tools like bitrise.io and Detox for testing.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies like Node.js, MySQL, Sequelize, GraphQL, Jest.
• Strong experience with frontend technologies such as React, Fluxible, CSS Modules, GraphQL.
• Good English communication skills;
  German is a plus.
• High self-organization, motivation, and teamwork skills.
• Good product thinking skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of backend technologies like Node.js, MySQL, Sequelize, GraphQL, Jest.
• Experience with native app technologies like React Native, Fastlane, Code Push.
• Experience with distributed systems, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ), microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud providers (AWS, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Docker.
